...call an Ambulance???? We had one show up at our house this morning. Wrong address. That's always a little worrisome, then you realize...wait, it's not for me. haha! I don't know if I've ever written about this, but every 4-6 months we have the police show up at our house and ring our bell over and over. They look quite stern when I come and they ask if I'm "Frau So-n-So or is Herr (Mr.) So-n-So here" and of course I'm not and they ask how long I've lived here and when they realize they're looking for someone (oh, it's the same person every time) who hasn't lived here in nearly 3 yrs. they leave and thank me. I'm guessing the last resident didn't leave his forarding address because we get quite a bit of mail for this person and a lot of them are bills or collectors now. Interesting.
Tomorrow we're grilling out and having friends over for May 1st. It's the Austrian Labor Day. So I don't have school today or tomorrow and I'm really enjoying this break.
Micah is trying really hard to crawl (not quite there though). He's not ever mastered the rolling over and over and over part and could care less if he can sit. But some how I can leave him on a blanket on his belly and 5 min. later return to find him on the other side of the living room! Nathan is loving this Spring weather. He's outside as much as possible and playing on his slide or swinging from our Cherry tree. He's been asking when he can go to school and I hate to tell him it won't be till January. That registration day we had last week got him real excited!
Have a great week! I'll try to get some pictures up here this week.

The last week or so...
Wow--school has kept me busy with homework and well, just attending classes. When I get home I'm blessed to hear from my almost 3 yr. old, "Mom, I miss you. Come play with me". Then a cute-chubby-smiley-6mo. old ready to be kissed and tickled. A husband who is really, really glad that I'm home so he can get to his office work :) Ahh.... to be home. Home...where my heart is.
Last night we attended the concert of The Singing Men of Texas (www.smonct.org). Danny's been helping the church in Graz that we attended our first 2 yrs. here ,with the organization of this group. Over 60 men (some with wives) were on a European tour to sing in some cities. The leaders of the group were here a year ago to check out the place and that's when we first met them. Ever since, Danny's been one of the middle men-being an American and knowing German. Doesn't hurt that we're from Texas. Anyway, it was great. Danny will have to write and tell you about the goose-bump-it's a small world moment he had. I wasn't there so I'll let him tell you all. Also, Danny & I were both alter workers at this event. We're hoping that thru the many comment cards and those that checked that they'd like a New Testament Bible will be contacts for future Bible studies for the Church in Graz & our Sunday Bible study. Pray for us while we work on that aspect of it now. There's a couple of pics from the concert below that the SMOT photographer took.
It was so great to be out and be able to wear a nice outfit without the worry of "Will spit-up come out of this?" The Browns were great to watch our boys. Nathan loves going to their house. We got home and Micah was out for the night, but Nathan still had some chattiness to him...don't know where he gets that! haha! He's still sleeping and it's 9:30am! It's taken me awhile to get this post done because Micah woke up.
My Grama is doing great. She had surgery to put a stint in to help with blood flow. Continue to keep her and my Papa in prayer that a full recovery will come soon.
My parents are trying to sell their house in KC, MO. and hope to move to Texas by mid-June. We'll be taking a furlough (before they decided to move, but what a nice perk!) from mid-August till the end of November. We're praying for new supporting churches. The Euro/Dollar exchange is really taking a hit to our monthly support.
We visited with some friends that we continue to share our Faith with....they have questions at times but you can see them fighting it. Pray that we'll always say the right thing at the right time and not shy away with fear.

Prayer please
My Dad called this afternoon and my Grama (Dad's mom) was put in the hospital last night because a blood clot that had developed in her leg from knee surgery last week, broke off and is in her lungs. Please pray the meds work to disolve it. My Papa also has been very sick & is caring for her.

Overdue Update
It has been a really busy few weeks here. I hate that I've not kept up with this better, but sometimes time just gets away. I'll try to give a run-down of what's gone on. This may be choppy...
After MANY trips up to the University I was given a place to study. I actually ran into a teacher I had and she said she'd look into it for me. I returned the next day and got my schedule-yeah! Tuesdays are going to be hard. I won't be home till after 7pm :( But on a positive note...the teacher who helped me is also my main teacher. I really liked her before and she knows I have 2 kids so she'll understand 'that look' on some days :) haha!
Nathan & I had colds last week. Danny has felt "under the weather". Micah has bronchitis....AGAIN! We are all on the mends thankfully! Please keep Micah in prayer. I really don't want to spend more time in the hospital. The weather has been the main culprit. It was so nice & warm a couple of weeks ago then it snowed for 3 days. This week has been up & down too.
Last month, we were able to see a supporting Pastor who was also Danny's youth Pastor back in the days. Don & Becky were here along with 2 other families we knew from our time in college. It was good to see them.
My parents are moving to Texas! They have accepted the position of Associate Pastor at our home church in Sulphur Springs. We're so excited to be near them when we make trips back to the States!
Danny has been asked to preach a few times at a church in Graz. He'll be preaching again this Sunday for Easter. He has taught in German before but it's a little nerve wracking when most of the listeners are fluent German speakers. Danny has taught in other Bible studies before and currently teaches in German on Sunday afternoons too. He has done very well with speaking German.
I think that's all the highlights. So we're doing good with lots on our plates. Feel free to comment on the blog and keep in touch with us that way as well. Have a great week!
